Fear God/keep his commandments
One of the most important things we need to do is “fear God & keep his commandments”. God will judge everything, including the hidden things good or evil. For we can’t hide anything from God!
Psalm 94 pg 671
God avenges (gets even)
The Bible teaches us God’s will & truths. Its up to us to do well with it! As we spend time in the Bible & talking & listening to God we should be doing better & better & then God won’t have to punish us. I’m sure glad that God has pity on me.
Ephesians 5:1-21 pg 1308
As I’m reading this I’m seeing that it could be very hard to “Honor your father & mother” if they aren’t good parents. How does a Christian child show honor to a mean, evil parent? The Bible talks about lust & there is so much of it shown on TV. & so many parents living with someone other than their spouse. So what does this show the kids? Not much good in my eyes. The Christian world has accepted this & helped it along, so people don’t have any shame anymore.
