Hearts ready for God?
We should first thing in the morning seek to have our own hearts made ready for God. The Lord never turns from us when we plead the covenant with his anointed. How big is the love of God to man, that he should speak concerning his church! It is his desire to be with us; yet how little do we desire to be with him! He lived in Zion till the sins of Israel caused him to give them up. Don’t leave us O God, & deliver us not in like manner, sinful though we are. The people of Zion have reason to be content with little of the world, because there are better things ready for them. My enemies will be shamed forever.

Be humble
So many times we like to only talk & hear of all the special things & all the glory, but not of all the hard work & trouble it took to get there. There are hard ships in our lives for a reason, they help mold us for the after life. We are to be like children at heart & be teachable, willing to obey so we can get the reward. I need to renewed daily in the spirit of my mind, so I can be humble & simple & Christ like.
