Is Saul unable to help himself? It sounds like he was trying to make up with God.
God will direct my steps if I acknowledge him in all my ways, & see his direction, & follow his advice.

Warnings for sinners
God will only put up with me doing my own thing for so long then he will leave me to go my own way. I need to prove that my temper, conduct & life should show that I am Christ’s. Others will know if Christ is in me but the way I act & the Holy Spirit that show thru me. Am I a true Christian or a deceiver?
