Do I have confidence in God?
Faith & prayer go together. Would I give up my last breath on the cross & make my soul a free offering for the sin of others? NO!! Do I really care about my soul & spirit? Even if my body goes thru hard times & is hurt my soul doesn’t have too. To redeem a soul is so precious. God looks upon our souls, when we are in trouble, to see whether they are humbled Every believer will meet with danger, until he is delivered from death, his last enemy. Our own sins give us sorrows, but Christ suffered for our sins not His!
My time of life is in God's hands, to lengthen or shorten, make bitter or sweet, according to his will. The way of man is not in himself, nor in our friend's hands, nor in our enemies' hands, but in God's. David prays that the Lord would save him for his mercies sack, & not for any thing of his own. David prophesies that those who speak evil of the people of God be silenced. There will be a day coming, when the Lord will give judgment on them. In the mean time, we should engage ourselves by well-doing, if possible, to silence the ignorance of foolish men.

Judge myself??
We must judge ourselves, & judge our own acts, but not make our word a law to everybody. I must be very careful about passing judgment upon my brother without any ground & must be careful of thinking the worst of people for no good reason. And not quarrel with people for small things. Some sins are as motes, while others are as beams; some as a gnat, others as a camel. Not that there is any sin little. What is a splinter in another’s eye is a beam in my own.
