Farewell to the leaders
In my last days will I have time or be able to tell people of the great things God has done for them & me. It is sad that among Christians the names of the heathen gods are so commonly used, and made so familiar as they are. There might be many things wrong among us, but we should not forsake the Lord our God, the way to make people better, is to make the best of them.
we must always stand our guard, for many a soul is lost through carelessness. Love the Lord your God, & you will not leave him. Has God been true to you? He is faithful. Conflicts may have been severe & long, trials great & many; but at the last he will acknowledge that goodness & mercy followed him all the days of his life. Let us trust in God's faithfulness, love, & power; let us plead his promises, & stick to his command-ments, then we shall be happy in life, in death, & for ever.

God’s power
Experience of God’s power & goodness are good supports of faith, & power in prayer in present times. The many victories we get, are not by our own strength but by God’s favor & free grace. Let me glory in the Lord. But if I have the comfort of his name, let me give to him the glory due.

Women covering their head
We should, even in our dress & habit, avoid every thing that may dishonor Christ. A women should do nothing, in Christian assemblies, which would not disgrace God. She should have a veil on her head. Our presence should keep Christians from all that is wrong while in the worship of God. Nevertheless, the man & the woman were made for one another. They were to be mutual comforts & blessings, not one a slave, & the other a tyrant.
