Mark 6 pg 1113
Jesus despised in his own country.
Those who didn’t like Jesus tried to turn others against him. This is what happens today. People try to get us to go somewhere else instead of church.
The apostles told the people they must repent of their sins, & turn to God.
The servants of Christ may hope to turn many from darkness unto God, and to heal souls by the power of the Holy Ghost.
John the Baptist put to death.
It sounds like Herod was afraid of John but respected him.
Did they like the preaching as long as it didn’t touch them?
God will repay his servants for what they endure or lose for his sake.
