Blessings the people
24-“The Lord bless you and keep you;
25-the Lord make his face shine upon you & be gracious to you;
26- the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
To be under the protection of God our Saviour & enjoy his favor while he forgives my sins, supplies my needs, prepares me. The Lords name is mentioned 3 times. Could this mean God, Jesus & the Holly Spirit?
Psalm 22:8-11 pg 622
Discouragement
Was Christ suffering in this Psalm? Was this about the Cross-? To cry out My God, why am I sick or poor is normal. My hope is in God.
Acts 26 pg 1245
Hope
Christianity teaches us to give a reason of the hope that is in us, and also to give honor to whom honor is due, without flattery or fear of man. I need to have virtue & be strong in my faith. The prospect of eternal life should cause me to be diligent & strong in all religious exercises. Christ & heaven are the two great doctrines of the gospel. Some things seem to be beyond belief.
